As with the home part of the Home Medication Review, ideally, the review will take place at the patient's place of residence so that you may find risk factors for the patient inside the patient’s home.
Item 900 does allow you to request a room at the clinic to perform the review if the patient's home is deemed unsafe; however, if it is safe enough, we would highly recommend that the referral be done in the patient’s home.
